No time to blogg but I want to share this picture with you of my niece (she's the daughter of Jens brother) and me with Baga. Of course SSSól is always with us . What do you think, should I exercise to lead SSSól during riding Baga on my pasture? How can I tell SSSól not to crush my leg?

I would lead Baga and tie SSSól to her. Teach her to do that and then maybe lead them together once a week or month. After that, maybe next year I would teach SSSól to be led by you riding Baga   However, you can also do it the way you feel best

To avoid crushing your leg you might have to teach her to,víkja undan fæti, I have no idea how to say this in English nor German

If you can buy teymingargjörð like I had around Hrókurs belly when he was helping me teaching the foals to lead,you can do the same with Bögu and let her pull SSSól.Baga is so mutch more stronger then you and she can teach SSSól that she is not aloud to pull ore run as she likes.She has to follow her and after few times whe will by mutch more easier to lead and will not run over you ore from you.

This is a old way here in Iceland to teach horses to lead and I think the best way but there are so many ways to do it.And when you do this you have to make sure that IF SSSól will by pulling so mutch that Baga will by in trouble and you think that SSSól might hurt her self that you can pull the rope and then SSSól get free and do not hurt her self ore Bögu.

I know that you can do this and the only thing you have to do is to by relaxed so the horses feel that and do this in a baby steps .

I would do the same as Ransý has just written. In this manner I have done the same with Hjartan Bragi. The first few times I was leading Bragi beside him and the next times I was riding on him without saddle and Hjartan on my right side  fasten to the Longiergurt as I'm not having such a girth like Ransý but the Longiergurt is working the same way.

Thank you all my dearest friends!!!  I have a lunge-belt which I will use to fasten SSSól on Baga. I had the same idea to make a safety-knot which can be untied very easy and quick. SSSól will surely not run far away from Baga and me . Maybe I will try it today the first time.
The new layout was not my idea, blog.is had some problems and I can not get my old design back.
Luckily I have free time from Thursday until Saturday, then I will try to blog if I manged to lead both horses together.

Oh, I forgot: any idea how to translate "víkja undan fæti"? Do you mean that SSSól needs to learn to go away after a soft touch? We are working on it. I can bakkar her with using only one finger  (most time).

Yes, I think that must be the meaning of "víkja undan fæti" what Sigrún has written. "undan fæti" maybe because if you will take SSSól beside you during riding as a "Handpferd" and you can touch her softly with your feet, when she will come to near to Baga,  that she will know  that  she has  to move  a little bit, to keep a distance.
